Planning a wedding can be overwhelming for the modern bride with a busy schedule. Coordinating meetings with photographers, florists, musicians and caterers, among others, is time-consuming and can be frustrating when time is at a premium. How can wedding planning be more fun and less stressful?

At "A Day to Remember" Bridal Show, brides can simplify the process by meeting one-on-one with the area's finest wedding professionals all gathered in one place at one time. "Brides can collect information, sample cakes and catering, interview the vendors and book the services they need, all in one day," says event organizer Labeth Hall of PR Plus Events.

The largest bridal show on the Central Coast, "A Day to Remember" will be held on Sunday, January 15, 2012, at the Monterey Conference Center. Tickets can be purchased at the door for $10 per person.

Upon entering, brides can register to win a romantic honeymoon, in addition to other great prizes. The honeymoon package is sponsored by Honeymoons by Traveltown (some restrictions apply.) Winners are announced at the end of the show (approximately 3:30 p.m.) and must be present to win.

Brides are also given a large bag at the entrance, which includes a Monterey County Herald "Haven Weddings" magazine, in addition to the event program listing all of the vendors and their locations on a map.

Brides are encouraged to arrive early to beat the crowd and ensure adequate time to visit with all of the vendors. Hundreds of brides attend along with their families and wedding parties.

The day's activities include a Designer Fashion Show on stage. "The latest fashions will be shown, in addition to the newest trends in flowers, accessories and beauty secrets," says Hall. We will also be offering hourly seminars to help the brides with their planning.

Brides are reminded to bring lots of labels to the show that include their name, address, phone number and e-mail address to save time as they register for gifts at the various booths.
